A live team game show on a lit 3 x 3 board: Team X and Team O win squares by answering grammar challenges on their phones (gerunds, commas after transitions, active voice, relative clauses).
A projector prize-wheel show: teams spin a 3D wheel, call letters and solve hidden phrases, using where a sound sits in a word (ai/ay, ck/k, tch/dge, oi/oy) to choose letters.
A projector quiz-board show for Grade 8 math review: teams solve clues on whiteboards across five categories, with a hidden Double Down tile and a Final Clash bet.
A one-player press-your-luck game show. Each round the host models one word, then the student builds, spells and splits words from Greek and Latin roots, prefixes and suffixes; right answers earn spins on an 18-square Big Board where a Glitch can wipe the points on the line.
A whole-class bidding show: a cart of prizes rolls onto the turntable, every student bids on the total from a phone keypad, and the real total drops onto a number line of every bid. Phases: round and add, exact totals, adding 13% HST, and a tax-included showcase.
