Block Tower Patterns

About this activity

A 3D toy-block workshop on a sunny windowsill. Students build the next or missing stage of growing block patterns, find each pattern rule (the start number and the jump), use the rule to predict stage 10 or stage 25 without building it, and tell patterns that add the same amount each time from patterns whose jump changes.
