Reading Between the Lines: Gran's Boat Shed

Students read an original real-life narrative about a teen who spends the summer finishing a wooden dory with Gran in a fictional Nova Scotia fishing village, then explore the 3D boat shed to find what the story says and what it only hints at. They pin details to an evidence board as supporting or ruling out inferences about the narrator, and answer OSSLT-style single-selection, multiple-selection and drop-down inference questions, avoiding three traps.
