About this activity
A soft 3D kitten plays in a small toy room. A voice gives one direction, such as 'Put the kitten under the table', and the child drags the kitten or taps near the spot. On, under and in come first on a table, a chair and a crate, then beside.
What students learn
- Follow a spoken direction using the position words on, under, in and beside, by putting a toy kitten in the right place
- Keep the meaning of a position word when the furniture changes
