About this activity

A 3D engineering test yard. Students predict which parts of loaded truss bridges and towers are squeezed (compression) or stretched (tension), name the load behind a motion (own weight, a moving truck, a crosswind), and place thick posts where a structure needs strengthening. A load test proves every prediction.
