Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 27, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Argraide ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Description of Service

Argraide is an AI-powered educational platform that enables educators ("Creators") to generate, customize, and share interactive learning activities. The Platform includes:

  • Activity Builder: AI-assisted tools for creating educational content.
  • Classroom Management: Tools for teachers to assign and track student progress.
  • The Library: A platform for Creators to share their activities with other educators, either publicly or within their organization.
  • Community Impact Grants: A program that directs a portion of platform profits to charitable causes aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals.

3. User Accounts

There are three types of accounts on Argraide:

  • Teacher/Creator Accounts: Full accounts with email authentication for educators who create content.
  • Organization Accounts: Accounts for schools or institutions managed by administrators.
  • Student Accounts: Anonymous accounts created by teachers using emoji-based authentication. No personal information is collected from students.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. The Library & Sharing

Creators may publish and share their activities on The Library for other educators to discover and add to their classrooms.

4.1 Public Library

Activities published to the Public Library are available for all educators on the platform to discover, add to their own library, and use with their students. Publishing to the Public Library is free during the current beta period.

4.2 Organization Internal Library

Activities created using organization messages are automatically restricted to the organization's Internal Library. These activities can only be accessed by members of the same organization and cannot be published to the Public Library, ensuring that content created with institutional resources remains the property of the institution.

4.3 Community Impact Grants (Annual)

Argraide donates 1% of annual platform profits to charitable causes aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Teachers vote annually to determine which SDGs receive funding. This approach ensures predictable, meaningful contributions.

4.4 Future Monetization

Argraide reserves the right to introduce paid features, premium content, or marketplace functionality in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to users in advance and reflected in updated Terms of Service.

5. Intellectual Property

Creators retain ownership of the original content they create on Argraide. By publishing content on The Library, Creators grant Argraide a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote their content within the Platform.

The Argraide platform, including its AI systems, design, and codebase, remains the intellectual property of Argraide.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or generate content that is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate for educational settings.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access accounts not belonging to you.
  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Redistribute library content outside of the Platform without authorization.
  • Use automated systems to scrape content or interfere with Platform operations.

7. Use by Minors

The Platform is intended for use by schools, teachers, and students. Students under 13 may only use the Platform with the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or school. Schools are responsible for obtaining necessary parental consent for students to use the Platform. For more information, see our COPPA Compliance Statement and Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Argraide makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Platform's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content should be reviewed by educators before use with students.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Argraide be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Argraide in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Modifications to Terms

Argraide reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
